At about 2 Kms from the historical centre of Volterra, Etruscan and Medioeval town in the middle of Tuscany, surrounded by the most beautiful countryside of the region, just in front of Monte Voltraio, we find "La Fornacchia", consisting of a farmhouse, a barn and a tiny private church.
Close to the main street (S.S. 68), the tourist can easily reach Florence, Siena and Pisa in about 1 hour run by car.
The barn has been recently restored by the owners according to the old Tuscan tradition and style and consists of two nice apartments:
"Il Leccio", on the groundfloor, can accomodate till seven guests (5+2) and "Il Cipresso", on the first floor, can accomodate till four guests.
