Wine road Colli di Maremma
This is a wine that is increasing of importance, is silently prevaling, with confidentiality, contributing in a determinanting way to open a window on the territory in which it was born. We can so discover other valus like natural patrimony, the historic-cultural culture and other emergent economies. In this contest it takes to life the the project Strade del Vino Colli Maremma and it proposed to connect this potential riches, to integrate them, to make one single spirit without however damaging the private enterprises. The organization for the performance of the prefixed scope, beginns from from the concept of creating a synergy between the several economic activites located in the territory of the Road of the Wine, coordinated between them actively, and in possession of essential requirement, proper furnishings to the characteristics of the place and structures to the carried out activity. So, to have the capacity to give to the turist, that the territory offers.
Morellino of Scansano, Bianco of Pitigliano, Ansonica, Parrina, all D.O.C. wines, are well known in a area that beginns from Giglio island and goes to Monte Argentario, Capalbio, Orbetello, Grosseto, Magliano in Tuscany, Scansano, Manciano, Sorano, Campagnatico, Roccalbengna and Pitigliano that are goal of mass and elite tourism, for which has beeen a good organisation. In Pitigliano, city of "tufo" stone, will arise the information and acceptance centre.
The office will be located in the old Salvini theatre, in a scene of 800, in a monument of the history of Pitigliano. Here the turist can collect all the usefull informations for the excursion in "I Colli di Maremma", to know about the wine company and wine cellars to visit, the opportunities of stay and gastronomy specialities, agritouristic hospitality and about the typical handicraft. He can also discover the itinerary more adapted for his requirements and consult brochures. Another important point of reference is Museo della Vite e del Vino, which will be located in Scansano, in the prethorium palace, historical testimony of this village.
Here the present will be put in contrast with the past. There will be exposed ancient objects, it will be represented the historical-economic reality of the past, the handicraft and the ancient technique, the art of the past. You will see how the wine culture was born and you will understand better the history of the peasants. There will be a lot of signs iall over the area for the tourist. The goal of Colli di Maremma is that of letting the tourist feels like at home, of considering him a pleasnt and sacred guest.
